It is the threatening posture of this creature that makes a monster. It is depicted rearing up on its white-clawed feet and with its front legs raised as if to grab at its victim. Its face has four pairs of curly-ended whiskers and an open mouth displaying sharp white teeth. Incongruously, its body is shown dressed in a four-button, short-sleeved shirt and belted shorts, but its dominant feature is its pair of elongated ears that stretch right round to join up with its rear feet.
